| BORESEAL can be utilized in fully compliant synthetic drilling fluids without concerns associated with hydrocarbon indication or sheen. |
| BORESEAL is a sized blend of calcium based mineral fibers, sized graphite, and pore throat bridging materials that initiate immediate sealing of shale micro fractures and porous sand formations. |
- Will help to eliminate well bore stability issues associated with ballooning by sealing porous and fractured zones.
- Reduces whole mud losses in fractures formations, therefore improving longterm well bore stability.
- Lowers spurt and total fluid loss therefore, reduces differential sticking tendency.
- Will not absorb the base fluid of inverts eliminating concerns with elevated ROC.
- Functional in either sweep form or total system additions.
- Disperses readily and will not have any adverse affects on rheology or electrical stability.
- Non-damaging to MWD tools.

BORESEAL can be applied in sweeps containing 8 to 15 pound per barrel or in the case of severely depleted zones a treatment of 4 to 6 pounds per barrel can be added directly to the system. While drilling a section with an invert fluid it is best to set up a scheduled sweep regime. This will help to eliminate down hole losses associated with massive sands and micro fractures. It is recommended you utilize your BCI technical representative to assist in designing this sweep regime. |
